High Bay Retro fits are Not a good idea.

High Bay Retro fits are Not a good idea.

Yes that is what I said now maybe the 120w and small would be pretty safe but anything bigger than that just has a big chance of falling out and killing someone! So we need to find a better alternative to retro fits for high bay! But I will say that a 150 and 200w retro fit is more expensive then just buying the complete new high bay fixture. So what good is the retro fit if it costs more! what are you saving? Nothing really in fact your helping recycle old metal to be put back in the metal system! :)
So I say No on the high bay retro fit, beside you are limited to 240w anyways.
Above:  is the retro fit zI was talking about here it shows a hook because you can hang it also or add the E39 socket to it and screw it isn't the old fixtures again not a good idea unless you only need maybe 100w.

Below:  Is our DLC UL Listed High bay Led Light at 200w with 19.500lm using cree xml 2 generation leds giving producing a constant 110lm/w using 36 x 6w leds.
